Age Connects provides a Welfare Benefits Service to residents of Cardiff funded by the Hodge Foundation from 01/07/2025 – 30/06/2026. The charity also provides a Welfare Benefits Service to residents in the Vale of Glamorgan funded by the Vale Council.
The services support older people aged 60+ to maximise their income through benefit entitlement. Our Welfare Rights Adviser offers face-to-face and telephone support to assist with benefit applications and general enquiries. Often, eligibility for one benefit can unlock access to several others.
A benefit check could help. We can assist with applications for:
- Attendance Allowance & Upgrades
- Disability Living Allowance & Upgrades
- Pension Credit
- Carer’s Allowance
- Council Tax & Housing Benefit
In Cardiff, we can also assist with applications for:
- Universal Credit
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
If a benefit application is being completed, a check for a Blue Badge will also be done.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you or someone you know could benefit from this support.
